Our WATCH Program

Through our WIN program formerly incarcerated women and LGBTQ2S+ are provided with safe community housing. We're Acclimating to Community Housing (WATCH) provides a strong foundation for justice impacted to acclimate back into society. Currently we have community homes located in Champaign and Cook counties.

Champaign County

WIN Recovery’s first community home opened in 2019. It houses 7 residents and is fully equipped with utilities and household necessities. Champaign offers the best of urban life in a friendly, smaller city. With a world-class university and a vibrant downtown, Champaign offers arts, culture, and diversity like no other city their size.

Cook County

Our first community home in Cook County opened on August of 2022. You can see several pictures through our website of the house. Cook County is the most populous county in the U.S. state of Illinois and the second-most-populous county in the United States. More than 40 percent of all residents of Illinois live within Cook County.

Cook County

WIN Recovery is proud and thankful for opening not one but two houses in Cook County in 2023. Thanks to the grants WIN has received we have been able to provide more support to formerly incarcerated individuals in our WATCH program. These houses are also equipped with household necessities and utilities.

We are excited to share the good news with you!!! WIN Recovery has THREE new Community Homes as part of our WATCH program!!! Women Acclimating to Community Housing (WATCH) provides a strong foundation for women to acclimate back into society. We have two in Cook County and one in Champaign County! Our grant money is being put to full effect. We really want to thank all of you for your continuous support with your likes, shares, and reposts to help formerly incarcerated women and LGBTQ2S+ individuals with their own reentry and recovery process.

WIN Recovery's community housing is different from other "transitional" houses. Our homes are homes, they are not facilities. At WIN we believe that a safe living condition is fundamental for a successful reentry. Check out how our community homes look from the inside!
